Every now and again, breakfast deserves to be an indulgence, doesn’t it?
While this is by no means by every day breakfast – it is, let’s face it, dessert for brekkie! – I can’t imagine a more delicious way to start the day.
These Chocolate Hazelnut Ganache Overnight Oats are my spin on the viral, TikTok breakfast of ganache overnight oats – and I know you’re going to be just as addicted as I am!

I mean…would you look at them? Can you imagine a more delicious plant-based breakfast!?

And, while I don’t eat these every day, they make for a fairly balanced breakfast as they’re rich in protein, complex carbs and healthy fats from the chocolate.

Chocolate Hazelnut Ganache Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- Serves 2
- For the oats –
- 1 cup oats, blended to a flour
- 1/2 cup milk of choice (plus more, if desired)
- 1/2 cup yoghurt of choice
- 2 tbsp protein powder of choice (I used vanilla) or collagen for non-vegan
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2.5 tbsp chocolate hazelnut butter
- Date or maple syrup, to taste (I used 1/2 tbsp)
- For the ganache / mousse:
- 60g melted dark chocolate
- 1/2 tbsp melted coco oil
- 1/2 package Clearspring Organic Silken Tofu
- 1/2 tbsp cacao
- Drop vanilla
- Date syrup or maple syrup, to taste
Method

Mix together all ingredients for the oats until creamy, adding a splash more milk after 15 minutes if you’d like it slightly creamier. Pour into jars.
- Blend all ganache ingredients until smooth and creamy, sweetening to taste. Pour over the oats, then place in the fridge overnight. Enjoy!
